On November 11, members of the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce gathered to celebrate the best in our community for the year at our annual business awards evening called Sparkle and Shine. A big “Thank You” to co-title sponsors Caldwell Insurance Agency and 1st Colorado Roofing. This was an evening of fun and celebration. The winners in each category are:
Business of the Year: Evergreen Discount Liquor

Young Professional of the Year: Cory Vander Veen of Evergreen Park & Recreation

Santa Breakfasts, a beloved time for families with young children, begin on Saturday, November 25 and continue each Saturday morning through December 16. Check the Evergreen Chamber website for dates and locations and to purchase your tickets.
Shop Small Saturday is Saturday, November 25. This is the first official weekend of holiday shopping, and I can promise you that every dollar you spend this holiday season, at local, small establishments, will come back to the community tenfold. These are the businesses who will support your school and nonprofit fundraisers with donations. These are the businesses who will hire the teens in your neighborhood during the summers. These are the businesses who will continue to be open, even after a summer of construction.
