Celebrate the Music of Mozart With the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra

The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra invites you to enjoy an afternoon concert highlighting the genius of Mozart. On Saturday, April 5, the ensemble will present the playful Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, the enchanting Piano Concerto No. 21 with soloist and Steinway artist Stephanie Shih-yu Cheng, and the awe-inspiring Jupiter Symphony. The performance is from 3-5 pm at Rockland Community Church, 17 South Mount Vernon Road.

Leadership Evergreen Class of 2024 Organizes Town Hall

The Evergreen Community Association, an entity established by the Leadership Evergreen Class of 2024, is hosting an Evergreen Town Hall on April 10 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Evergreen High School Auditorium.

Recognizing the unique operations of an unincorporated town like Evergreen, the Class of ’24 is launching the town hall initiative to offer residents a forum for gaining accurate information and insight about community issues and for working with like-minded citizens to solve problems.

The April 10 town hall will focus on local infrastructure projects and local governance. The gathering will be moderated by Alan Gionet, and speakers confirmed at press time include Jefferson County Commissioner Lesley Dahlkemper, Evergreen Legacy Fund board member Eric Gill, and a representative from the Colorado Department of Transportation. Meet Experts at the Foothills Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show

The Foothills Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show, presented by the Rotary Clubs of Evergreen and Conifer, runs Saturday, April 12 from 10 am – 4 pm and Sunday, April 13 from 10 am – 3 pm at Evergreen High School, 29400 Buffalo Park Road. The two-day, free event features local businesses that offer home improvement and landscape services, local artisans, and nonprofits that provide essential services to the community.

While there is no entry fee for the public, vendors and sponsors generate revenue for the event, with Lifetime Home Remodeling leading the way as this year’s presenting sponsor. Net proceeds from the show are donated to charities supported by the Rotary Club foundations. More than $325,000 in grants has been distributed to worthy causes since the event began in 2005.

Life Bridge Food Pantry to Collect Donations at Conifer King Soopers

The Bailey-based Life Bridge Food Pantry, which aids residents along the 285 Corridor, will be accepting food donations at the Conifer King Soopers on Saturday, April 19 from 1-5 pm. Grocery store gift cards and cash are also welcome to help meet the needs of mountain residents experiencing food scarcity.

Get Ready to Boogie at the Bear to Support EChO

Tickets are on sale for the “Spring Boogie at the Bear,” a night of music, dancing and community connection on Friday, April 25 from 6-11 pm at The Little Bear in downtown Evergreen. Taking the stage will be Jon Lundberg from 6-7 pm followed by headliner Homeslice.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door and can be purchased at boogieatthebarn.com. Net proceeds from the April 25 Boogie will benefit Evergreen Christian Outreach, a local nonprofit whose mission is to champion people on their unique path from survival to success. EChO runs a food bank, job center, and an overnight shelter from October–April. The nonprofit also offers clients emergency services, energy/heating assistance, and referrals to health service agencies.
