Did you know that the first day of the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament has been found to be the least productive day of the year? This year, the first full day of March Madness is on St. Patrick’s Day. Two reasons why productivity takes a hit! Your Evergreen Chamber has figured out how to enjoy basketball, socializing, but still grow your business that day. Join us from 1-5 pm on March 17 at The Wild Game for basketball, food, cocktails, fun games, some side betting, and LOTS of networking. This will be a great opportunity to make connections with other potential partners in our community and to understand what the Chamber can do for your business and our community. This event is open to EVERYONE! The cost per person will cover food, games, a few drinks and prizes for different contests. Come join us for some afternoon fun.

Later this month, we will be opening the nominations for the Mountain Area Women in Business Hall of Fame. Each year, the Evergreen Chamber looks to honor women who have had a big impact on this community through both their businesses and their volunteerism. If you would like to nominate someone, please send an email to: president@evergreenchamber.org We will open voting on the nominees in April and then will honor the inductees at our annual Women in Business luncheon on Thursday, May 12 at Mount Vernon Canyon Club. We know so many of these amazing women do their good works quietly, so we appreciate the eyes and ears of our community to make sure no one is forgotten!

Plan to join us at any of our upcoming events. The Evergreen Chamber website has all the details for each event and registration is available for each one under the “Events” tab on our website. We look forward to welcoming our community to involve everyone. Follow Evergreen Chamber on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for all the latest information.
