I am not an adventurous eater. I can try to blame my mother who did all the cooking during my childhood years, but I should have expanded my options as I hit my twenties. I did not. So, when I order, I tend to have one or two favorites at each restaurant. But I am happy to borrow a bite from my husband’s plate to try something new! It is not that I am not willing to try new things, but to commit to ordering an unknown item off a menu is a big jump! So that is why Taste of Evergreen is perfect for me! Taste of Evergreen will have about 30 local vendors providing over 40 different tastes and sips, allowing us all to try something new!
A huge thank you to Bruce Anderson, a local Farmers Insurance agent, for continuing to partner with the Chamber to bring us this delicious and fun event! Join us on Tuesday, September 17 at the Evergreen Lake House. Tickets can be purchased online at evergreenchamber.org. Happy Hour will run from 4:30 – 5:30 pm and general admission will be from 5 – 7:30 pm. Early bird pricing tickets are available until August 22. Come try what is sure to become some new favorites from our amazing local food options. There will be live music to accompany the evening.
