Ireland’s Finest

Painting Company

By Amy J. Born

Andrew Toole arrived in Denver from County Meath, Ireland in 1994. He went to work as a laborer at a painting company for $6 an hour and, it turned out, he had a knack for it. He was quickly recognized as a hard worker and given a raise. After a night of celebrating, he decided to start his own company and opened Ireland’s Finest Painting Company in 1995 out of his Denver apartment.

The business grew with many jobs in the city’s historic neighborhoods such as Denver Country Club, Cheesman Park, Washington Park, Park Hill, Congress Park and many others. About seven years ago, Andrew moved to the Evergreen area. He thought it was beautiful and he wanted to work up here as well as live here, so Ireland’s Finest expanded to include Golden, Genesee, Morrison, Indian Hills, Chief Hosa and Evergreen.

In 2006, Ben Reder joined the company full time as a laborer. He learned the trade and ran a crew over the next three years. After that, he began to learn the business side of the company and became a lead estimator. He is accompanied by Edward Taylor, who joined the company a couple of years ago as an estimator. He works with all of our clients in the Genesee, Evergreen, Morrison and Golden areas. He has been a great addition to the team and has helped expand Ireland’s Finest.

Andrew and Ben have worked together to build the best painting company in the area based on great customer service, expert color consultation, high quality workmanship and taking the right steps from start to finish. “We know painting is messy and we strive to be the clean guys in a dirty industry,” said Andrew.

“We know that a person’s house is not just a place to hang your hat,” said Caroline Taylor, office manager. “Home is a place that needs to be clean and comfortable, a place that people can be proud of, where they share time with their families and recharge their batteries.”

The company has two project managers, Miguel Gallardo and Casey Leonhardt, who embody the company mission of giving the best possible customer service. They handle any issues that might arise and ensure that all communication between painters and customers is impeccable.

Ireland’s Finest believes strongly in giving back to the community and helping those who are less fortunate. Every year, the company picks someone in need through its Hard Times Soft Hearts program to receive painting services. “We could have put together a charity event, raised a bunch of money and donated it to a local organization, but we wanted to work directly with people who are in need or who sacrifice their own dreams to help their communities,” Andrew said. “It is that type of interaction that shows us we are really making an impact in someone’s life that could really help them turn around their situation.” To nominate a person or business going through hard times to receive painting services, follow the Hard Times Soft Hearts link on the company’s website, irelandsfinestinc.com.

Ireland’s Finest has a high customer satisfaction rating and is listed with Angie’s List, Nextdoor.com, Google.com and the Better Business Bureau (A+ rating). The company is fully insured and EPA lead certified.
