The holiday season always seems to come and go so quickly. It would be nice to be able to slow down time a little and let the good times linger just a bit… just long enough to breathe in the smells of fresh evergreens, fresh-baked cookies, and my personal favorite—a cozy fire crackling in the fireplace. Or maybe just long enough to soak up the twinkling lights and the sounds of the holidays. And long enough to let the sight of all the sparkling eyes and happy faces soaking in the magic of the season.
We have had a busy season here at the Chamber, and we are extra thankful for the community of Conifer this time of year, especially this year. Our businesses help to make the season cheery by stocking their shelves so you can shop local. And by stocking the food pantry shelves, donating toys and gifts to those less fortunate.
In November, we had Small Business Saturday, even though this year we promoted our Small Business Season instead of just one day! We spent the day shopping locally and stopping by several businesses in the area. In the beginning of December, hundreds lined the parade route to kick off the 38th Annual Christmas Parade (presented by RE/MAX Alliance) and celebrate the official start of the season and shop at our Christmas Market. Neighbors and businesses around the area are helped to Light Up Conifer with twinkling lights and festive decorations throughout the New Year.
There are a ton of Chamber events happening throughout the year. To see those, go to GoConifer.com and select Chamber Events. You can check on our website, GoConifer.com, under Community Events to see what our businesses have happening during the year and how to support them.
