The months leading up to December have been full of preparation for the holiday season here in Conifer. Let me catch you up!

In November, we had Small Business Saturday, even though this year we are campaigning for the Small Business Season instead of just one day! We spent the day shopping locally and stopping by a number of businesses in the area. Unfortunately, we were not able to stop by every business. While historically, we celebrate this one day a year, the Conifer Chamber encourages you to shop local all year long and take advantage of the amazing local mountain businesses to find unique and special gifts for your friends and family this holiday season! After you shop locally, stop by Conifer Community Church for their amazing animated light show. The light show runs from 5-10 pm Sunday-Thursday and 5-11 pm Friday and Saturday.

Finally, after months of committee work and long hours of planning, we just wrapped up the 38th Annual Conifer Christmas Parade. It was a beautiful warm day, and our turnout was incredible! One of the best years we’ve had so far. Thank you to RE/MAX Alliance for sponsoring this event. Everyone was able to do some holiday shopping in our Market Tents and support local businesses, and oh my, the talent represented by our community was astonishing! I love to see the different organizations, businesses, families and friends pull together to keep this tradition alive! Thank you to everyone involved and congratulations to our Winners of the 2021 Christmas Parade:

Co-hosted by AlphaPixel Reach, this will be a fun way to ring in the holidays! Join us as we celebrate the season and have some fun!

Christmas in Conifer has always been a celebration of our community! Throughout the month of December, businesses and residents can once again participate in the “Light Up Conifer” holiday decorating competition. One residential property and one business will be awarded with a trophy in each of the following categories: Best Overall Decorated, Most Creative, and Most Lights Displayed.

In addition to a trophy created by AlphaPixel Reach, one residential winner in each of the above categories will receive a $100 gift card from Moore Lumber & Hardware. Thank you to our partner, My Mountain Town, for putting together the interactive map at goconifer.com/light-up-conifer.

Have a wonderful holiday season and please remember to shop local
