Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice Presents Oktoberfest, September 21
Oktoberfest is a fall celebration for the entire family featuring a kid’s corner, live music from Judge Roughneck and Polka Folka, Dachshund races, German food and beer, and other fun activities. The gathering takes place September 21 from noon–5 pm on Buchanan Fields.
Food is the star at Oktoberfest. Attendees can feast on homemade brats and sausages, wiener schnitzel, Hungarian beef goulash, Hascheeknödel, cheese spätzle, pretzels, strudel and more. German beers from favorite breweries will be available on tap. Hard seltzers, soda and bottled water will also be served.
The festival offers multiple ticket options including discounted advance ticket sales, and a ticket package with a beer stein and one free drink. Official t-shirts are also available for purchase. Children 12 and younger may enter free of charge. There is a separate registration for owners entering their Dachshund in the long-dog derby.
Proceeds from Oktoberfest support programs offered by Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice including Camp Comfort, a free grief camp for Colorado children ages 6-12 who have lost a loved one. In the past 30 years, the camp has helped more than 1,900 youngsters find a healing path forward.
For more than 40 years, Mount Evans has been an essential resource to our foothills and mountain communities, providing experienced and compassionate home health and hospice care. To learn more about Mount Evans, and to buy Oktoberfest tickets, go to bit.ly/3ARYcV0
