Rotary Raises the Recycling Bar

The Evergreen Rotary encourages you to clean out your garage and bring nearly everything you wish to purge to the club’s annual Recycling Day, September 23 from 9 am – 2 pm at the Evergreen Country Day School at 1036 El Rancho Road.

You can recycle anything that has a plug—from electronics to appliances—and household hazardous waste including paint, pesticides, used motor oil and car batteries. They will take your documents for shredding, and you can rid yourself of large household items such as bathtubs, swing sets and patio furniture. You can also bring your old bicycle that will be refurbished and given to a child who otherwise would do without.
