The Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce has a new Executive Director, Tamm DeAun Masoner. She was brought onboard two weeks before Elevation Celebration, and sometimes baptism by fire is the only way to learn… and she was up for the challenge! Elevation Celebration, which is always held the last weekend of July, was a huge success and very well-attended with lots of fun had by all. Melissa Baker, owner of Foothills Architects, LLC, was chair for this event and did an outstanding job planning and executing the event. It is said “it takes a village,” and a big thank you goes out to the board, new administrator Denise White, the many sponsors, vendors, bands and volunteers who made it happen.

A little more about Tamm: She has been a proud resident of Colorado for 15 years, moving from Castle Rock to Conifer in October of 2019. She is a military wife of 24 years, married to Major Brian Masoner, and has lived in Texas, California and Kansas. A Kansas girl at heart (and a proud Wildcats fan), she attended Kansas State University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She has also obtained a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a MALTT (Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching with Technology) degree as well.

She has many years of nonprofit experience in fundraising, membership and volunteer recruitment with over 25 years of experience volunteering and training with the Girl Scouts and military community. She served as Chair of the Douglas County after-prom committee for two years and volunteered with the Castle Rock Chamber for several events.

Tamm has two adult kids, Tyler and Blayn, who both live down the hill, and she will become a first-time grandma in October. She loves hiking, fly fishing and camping within Colorado’s beautiful mountains. Traveling to new places is another of her passions, having recently been to Italy and Greece among many other travels. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, repurposing furniture, crafting and quilting. She is also a wildlife survivalist trainer and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others whenever possible.

It is with great enthusiasm and loads of energy that she is excited to get to know and serve the Conifer community. Tamm is a big proponent of moving forward from the past and making the Chamber all it can be by making it a growing and thriving entity in Conifer. Joining the Chamber and being involved is one way you can help make that happen.
