“…Swing by the store for a little hint of holiday when you can!”
After the craziness of the last year and a half, Mountain Home is ready to welcome you home!
We know how much you’re looking forward to gathering with your loved ones and cozying up by the fire after sharing a wonderful meal… we are too.
Mountain Home has a great selection of cozy sofas (including reclining sofas that don’t look like recliners… yes, that’s a thing!), comfy swivel chairs, big ottomans and coffee tables for those board game nights, dining/gathering tables and chairs, plus all sorts of lovely table settings (dishes, cutlery, glassware, platters, placemats, napkins) for your holiday dinner gatherings… all available off the floor—in plenty of time for the holidays!
The supply chain struggles are real, so in order to be ready before the holidays, we’ve been receiving all our Christmas and seasonal décor over the last two months, and it’s now on the floor and ready for you to swing by and see what you might need to make these holidays the best ever!
Some of you have found our hidden Ladies Lifestyle section over the last year or so… a curated selection of cowboy boots, wool and cashmere sweaters, leather bags, scarves, fun and funky leather and suede jackets, Pendleton hats and coats (think “Yellowstone”), and a fabulous selection of handmade jewelry from our favorite female artisans.
But, here’s the exciting news: We recently added a Men’s Lifestyle section in time for the holidays! The poor guys in Evergreen don’t have a local shop to get a nice new wool sweater, suede jacket or plaid/cord shirt—not to mention the guys’ gift ideas we’ve brought in—rugged leather dop kits, wallets and mugs to name a few. Really, it’s time the guys got a little attention up here.
And to further celebrate the season, we are hosting two events at Mountain Home in the coming weeks! Get out your phones/calendars and note these dates:
—Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshop! Thursday, November 18, 6 pm start.
Come and create your very own beautiful Thanksgiving centerpiece using eucalyptus, greens, berries and burlap! A festive addition to your dining table, mantle or front door! This workshop is being given by the ever-talented Jenni Springstead of Snowflower Floral Designs in Denver (snowflower.me) who will provide all the materials for us to build our own centerpieces. Wine and hearty apps will be served. Reserve your spot online at
mountainhome.net under the Event tab—tix are $72.50 and we have a limited number of spots… ’cuz the store is so full of holiday!
—Holiday Boxwood Wreath Workshop! Wednesday, December 8, 6 pm start.
Learn how to hand tie a stunning, fresh boxwood wreath (12”)! Perfect on your front door, for a table centerpiece with candles or on a mirror. Jenni Springstead will be back with us to lead this workshop—more wine and more hearty apps will be served. Reserve your spot online at mountainhome.net ($72.50) for another fun event!
(Text your BF and see if she’s free on either date… and book soon—space is tight!)
So, swing by the store for a little hit of holiday when you can!
By the way, we’re considering renaming the store for the holidays… Mountain Gnome. Apparently, we have a thing for gnomes. Or at least one of us does.
Many, many happies and holiday wishes to you and those you love.
