This year the arts return to Evergreen in a big way with Evergreen Arts week, August 27 – Sept 5, sponsored by the Evergreen Artists Association (EAA) and Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE). Due to the pandemic, both organizations had to cancel their annual art shows last summer, but now they are back with both shows and a week of activities in between.

Evergreen Arts Week kicks off August 27 with a concert at CAE (31880 Rocky Village Dr. in Evergreen) by Americana duo Moors & McCumber. Outdoor seating opens at 6:30 pm with the performance at 7 pm. Participating artists come from across the country as well as from the local community, bringing their imaginative and creative painting, sculpture, wood, photography, jewelry, glass and more. People’s Choice Award voting cards will be available at each artist’s booth and the information tent so attendees can support their favorite artists in this fun way.

Food vendors include Smoke on the Mountains BBQ, High Society Pizza, and more. Bands include El Javi, Wendy Woo, Dan Edwards, Ann Dam Johnson, The Joseph Armetta Jazz Trio, and Johnny T.

Parking is available at Evergreen Middle School and Bergen Meadow Elementary with free shuttle service.
